What is your area of research as it relates to FTD?

I am doing basic clinical research en bvFTD

What inspired you to do FTD research?

The suffering of patients and their families, the challenges they face in diagnosis and then living with them in a country with no information in Spanish.

What challenges have you faced in FTD research?

In my country this type of dementia is not taught in most universities, health professionals have a great lack of knowledge about this disease

What hopes do you have for FTD research?

I wish to provide some kind of support to caregivers, encourage courses to improve the knowledge of this disease in professionals and to learn and research more about this disease (clinical, genetic aspects), do collaborative studies with other countries.
